Delete your account and data
This applies only if you signed in with Google. If you never signed in, there is no account and nothing of yours is stored on our servers.
How to request deletion
- Email connect@shickshack.io with the subject “Delete my Lonebird account”.
- Send it from the same Google account you used to sign in. That is how we identify which record to erase — we do not ask you for a password, and you never need to send us one.
- You do not need to give a reason. We will confirm by reply once the deletion is done.
Requests are actioned within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted, and what is kept
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account record (Google account identifier) | Deleted |
| Your leaderboard entry — display name, photo URL, score, flock size | Deleted, and it disappears from the public leaderboard |
| Your cloud save — best score, birds unlocked, streak, feathers | Deleted |
| Anonymous gameplay analytics (app-instance ID, run events, crash logs) | Kept, because it is not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you. It is deleted automatically by Firebase after 14 months. |
| Play Games achievements and your Play Games profile | Not ours to delete — that data belongs to your Google Play Games account. Manage it at myaccount.google.com. |
| Game progress stored on your phone | Removed when you uninstall the app |
Deletion is permanent. There is no undo, and a deleted cloud save cannot be restored — if you sign in again afterwards you start from scratch.
Deleting only some of your data
If you want your leaderboard entry removed but would like to keep your cloud save (or the other way round), say so in the same email and we will do only that.
Uninstalling the app on its own does not delete a cloud save or a leaderboard entry — send the email for that.
Advertising ID
Your device's advertising ID is not something we hold, so there is nothing for us to delete. You can reset or remove it yourself at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. See the Privacy Policy for what it is used for.
